Create a Popup

Creating a professional website pop-up is quick and easy with RTMKit PRO. Follow this step-by-step tutorial to design a promotional pop-up that showcases special offers, discounts, or important announcements.

Popups are created through WP Admin.

1. Make sure RTMKit, RTMKit Pro and RTM Popup Builder is installed and activated on your WordPress website.

Go to Plugins -> Installed Plugins.

2. Navigate to RTMKit Builder from your WordPress dashboard.

Click RTMKit -> Theme Builder -> Popup Builder -> click Create Popup.

3. Create a Popup.

Enter a name for your popup, choose a popup design, then click Create Template.

4. Design your popup using the Elementor editor.

You can add any widgets you need to match your popup design, such as Call to Action (CTA), Form, Newsletter, and more. Customize the content and layout to create the perfect popup for your campaign.

In this example, we’ll create a newsletter signup popup that will be displayed to your website visitors.

5. Preview your popup to see how it looks.

Click the Preview button in the Popup Dashboard to view your popup and see how your design looks.

6. Customize the Close Button to match your popup’s design.

Click Post Settings, then select Popup Close Button and customize it to match your preferred design.

7. Conditions Settings.

Conditions control where (on which pages) popups occur. Typical conditions might be to only popup on the front page, or to popup on every page of the entire site, or to only popup on a specific category or tag, etc.

In the Popup Dashboard click Settings -> click Conditions Tab :

• Configure your popup condition
• Control where this popup is allowed to appear by creating include and exclude rules. With no rules at all it may appear anywhere on the site.
• Don’t forget to click Save & Close.

8. Triggers Settings.

Triggers define specific actions users take that will automatically generate a popup. Typical triggers include when a user scrolls, when a user clicks, when a user intends to exit the page, or when a user’s interaction with the page is inactive for a period of time.

In the Popup Dashboard click Settings -> click Triggers Tab :

• Enable or disable triggers to control when your popup appears.
• Don’t forget to click Save & Close.

9. Advanced Rules Settings.

Layout Settings define how your popup is displayed on the screen.

In the Popup Dashboard click Settings -> click Advanced Rules Tab :

• Fine-tune who sees this popup and how often. Every rule you switch on must pass before it can open.
• Don’t forget to click Save & Close.

10. Layout Settings.

Configure the Layout settings to customize your popup’s size, position, width, animation, overlay, and close button delay to match your website’s design.

In the Popup Dashboard click Settings -> click Layout Tab :

• Customize your popup’s position, width, animation, overlay, and close button delay to match your website’s design.
• Don’t forget to click Save & Close.

11. That’s it!

Your popup has been successfully created with your preferred design and settings. It’s now ready to be displayed according to the conditions and triggers you’ve configured.
