Create a Single Post Template with RTMKit Pro

A Single Post Template allows you to design a single blog post layout that is automatically applied to all posts on your website. With RTMKit Pro, dynamic elements such as the Post Title, Featured Image, Post Meta, Author, and Post Content are automatically populated based on the post being viewed.

Step 1 — Make Sure RTMKit Pro Is Activated

Before creating a Single Post Template, make sure RTMKit & RTMKit Pro is installed and activated on your WordPress website. The Theme Builder, including the Single Post feature, is available exclusively in RTMKit Pro.

To verify this, go to WordPress Dashboard → Plugins → Installed Plugins and ensure that RTMKit & RTMKit Pro is marked as Active.

Step 2 — Open the Theme Builder

From your WordPress Dashboard, navigate to RTMKit → Theme Builder, then click Add New Template.

Step 3 — Create a New Template

Enter a name for your template, such as Single Post, then set the Template Type to Single Post. Click Save Changes, then select Edit with Elementor to start designing your template.

Step 4 — Build Your Single Post Layout

• You can add various widgets from the RTM Single Post such as:
• You can easily click on any widget or drag and drop it into the desired area on your template.
• Post Title: Displays the title of your post.
• Post Content: Displays the main content of your post.
• Post Comments: Shows the comments section for your post.
• Post Info: Displays additional post information like the date and categories.
• Featured Image: Shows the featured image of your post.
• Post Author: Displays information about the post’s author.
• Post Excerpt: Shows a brief summary or conclusion of your post.
• Post Navigation: Allows users to navigate to the previous or next post.

Make sure to include the Post Content widget, as it dynamically displays the content of each blog post.

Step 5 — Customize the Design

Use Elementor’s styling options to customize your template, including typography, colors, spacing, border radius, and responsive settings for tablet and mobile devices.

Step 6 — Publish the Template

Once your design is complete, click Publish.

You’re All Set!

Your Single Post Template is now active. Every new blog post you publish will automatically use this layout, while dynamically displaying its own title, featured image, author information, metadata, and content.
