Rometheme Yearly Subscription Terms & Conditions

Last Updated: Aug 2026

These Yearly Subscription Terms & Conditions (“Subscription Terms”) govern the purchase and use of yearly subscription products offered by Rometheme (“Rometheme”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By purchasing, activating, accessing, downloading, or using a Rometheme subscription product (“Subscription”), you agree to these Subscription Terms, together with any applicable product-specific terms, license terms, privacy policy, and other policies published by Rometheme.

If there is a conflict between these Subscription Terms and a product-specific policy, the product-specific policy will apply only to the extent that it expressly states that it overrides these Subscription Terms.

1. Definitions

For purposes of these Subscription Terms:

“Customer”, “you”, or “your” means the individual or legal entity purchasing or using a Subscription.

“Subscription” means a paid subscription plan providing access to certain Rometheme products, updates, downloads, support, templates, services, or other benefits specified for the applicable plan.

“Subscription Period” means the period during which a Subscription is active and the Customer is entitled to the benefits included in the applicable plan.

“Initial Purchase” means the first purchase of an eligible Subscription by the Customer for the applicable product or plan.

“Renewal” means a subsequent billing transaction that extends an existing Subscription for another Subscription Period.

“Cancellation” means disabling the automatic renewal of a Subscription. Cancellation does not, by itself, constitute a refund request.

“Refund Request” means a request submitted by the Customer asking Rometheme to return an eligible payment under the Refund Policy.

“Refund Period” means the period during which an eligible Initial Purchase or Renewal may qualify for a refund under Section 8.

“Subscription Benefits” means the updates, downloads, support, templates, premium features, services, or other benefits included with the applicable Subscription plan.

2. Covered Products

These Subscription Terms apply to yearly subscription products offered by Rometheme, including, but not limited to:

  • RTMKit Pro
  • RTMForm Builder Pro
  • Premium WordPress Themes
  • Premium Template Kits
  • Design Assets
  • Digital Resources
  • Product bundles or collections
  • Future products offered under a yearly subscription model

The specific products, features, website limits, license limits, support level, and other benefits included in each Subscription are determined by the applicable product or pricing page at the time of purchase.

Not every product, service, or digital resource offered by Rometheme is necessarily covered by the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee. Where an exception applies, it will be stated on the applicable product or checkout page.

3. Subscription Period

Yearly Subscriptions are billed for twelve (12) months.

Unless otherwise stated on the applicable product page, the Subscription Period begins on the date the payment is successfully completed and continues for twelve (12) months.

During an active Subscription Period, the Customer may receive the Subscription Benefits included in the purchased plan.

The expiration of a Subscription does not necessarily require the removal or deletion of software previously installed on a Customer’s website. However, access to Subscription Benefits that require an active Subscription may cease upon expiration.

4. Software License and Subscription Services

A Subscription may provide access to both software products and subscription-based services.

The purchase of a Subscription does not necessarily transfer ownership of Rometheme’s intellectual property to the Customer.

Where a Rometheme software product is distributed under the GNU General Public License (“GPL”) or another open-source license, the Customer’s rights to that software are governed by the applicable open-source license.

Subscription Benefits such as premium updates, technical support, premium downloads, template libraries, cloud services, or other subscription-only services may be subject to an active Subscription.

Nothing in these Subscription Terms is intended to restrict rights that the Customer has under an applicable open-source license or mandatory applicable law.

5. Automatic Renewal

Unless automatic renewal is disabled before the renewal date, eligible yearly Subscriptions may automatically renew for another twelve (12) month period using the payment method associated with the Customer’s account.

By purchasing a Subscription with automatic renewal enabled, the Customer authorizes Rometheme and its applicable payment processor to charge the applicable renewal price when the current Subscription Period ends.

Where reasonably practicable, Rometheme may provide advance notice of an upcoming renewal and the applicable renewal price.

The Customer remains responsible for maintaining accurate billing information and managing automatic renewal settings.

If a renewal payment fails, Rometheme may retry the payment and may suspend or terminate the Subscription if payment cannot be successfully completed.

6. Cancellation

Customers may cancel automatic renewal at any time through their account dashboard or by contacting Rometheme through an official support channel.

Cancellation means that the Subscription will not automatically renew at the end of the current Subscription Period.

Unless otherwise stated in these Terms, cancellation does not immediately terminate the current Subscription and does not automatically generate a refund.

For example:

Purchase: January 1, 2026
Expiration: January 1, 2027
Cancellation: June 1, 2026

The Subscription remains active until January 1, 2027, but it will not automatically renew.

7. Cancellation Is Not a Refund Request

Disabling automatic renewal and requesting a refund are separate actions.

A Customer who wishes to stop future billing may cancel automatic renewal.

A Customer who wishes to receive a refund must separately submit a Refund Request in accordance with Section 8.

Cancellation alone does not create an automatic entitlement to a refund.

8. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

Rometheme provides a thirty (30) day money-back guarantee for eligible yearly Subscription purchases.

For an eligible Initial Purchase, the Customer may request a full refund within thirty (30) days from the date of purchase.

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is intended to allow Customers to evaluate whether the applicable product or Subscription meets their needs.

8.1 No Questions Asked

For an eligible Initial Purchase submitted within the Refund Period, the Customer is not generally required to demonstrate that the product is defective, unusable, or technically incompatible in order to request a refund.

A Customer may request a refund because the product does not meet their expectations, is no longer required, was purchased by mistake, or for another reason.

Rometheme may collect an optional refund reason for product improvement, customer support, fraud prevention, or analytics purposes. Providing such a reason does not generally determine eligibility during the applicable 30-day Refund Period.

9. Refund Period

The Refund Period for an eligible Initial Purchase is thirty (30) calendar days beginning on the date the purchase is successfully completed.

The Customer must submit the Refund Request within the applicable Refund Period.

For purposes of determining eligibility, the date on which the Refund Request is submitted will generally be used rather than the date on which Rometheme completes the refund.

Once the Refund Period has expired, the Customer no longer has an automatic right to a refund under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Rometheme may, at its discretion, consider exceptional refund requests submitted after the Refund Period where circumstances reasonably justify an exception, including significant unresolved technical problems, billing errors, duplicate charges, or other circumstances required by applicable law.

An exceptional refund is not guaranteed and does not establish a precedent for future refund requests.

10. Renewal Refunds

For yearly Subscriptions that automatically renew, Rometheme may provide a separate thirty (30) day refund period beginning on the date of the applicable Renewal.

A Customer who does not wish to continue a renewed Subscription may submit a Refund Request within thirty (30) days following the Renewal.

If approved under this section, the Renewal payment will generally be refunded in full and the renewed Subscription will be canceled.

This Renewal refund provision does not create a right to a prorated refund for a Subscription that has been used beyond the applicable Refund Period.

11. Refunds Are Not Prorated

Rometheme does not generally provide prorated refunds based on the unused portion of a Subscription.

For example, if a Customer purchases a twelve-month Subscription and requests a refund after six months, the Customer is not entitled to receive the remaining six months as a prorated refund under the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is a limited refund window rather than a month-by-month cancellation and refund system.

This approach does not limit any refund or remedy that Rometheme is required to provide under applicable law.

12. Refund Eligibility

Subject to the exclusions and limitations in these Terms, an eligible refund generally requires that:

  1. the payment was successfully completed;
  2. the applicable product or Subscription is covered by the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee;
  3. the Refund Request was submitted within the applicable Refund Period;
  4. the transaction was not fraudulent or unauthorized;
  5. the Customer has not engaged in material abuse of the refund system; and
  6. the refund is not prohibited by applicable law or by the terms of the applicable payment processor.

Rometheme may request reasonable information necessary to verify the transaction or identity of the requesting Customer.

13. Refund Exclusions

Unless otherwise required by applicable law, the following transactions are generally not eligible for the standard 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee:

  • Purchases submitted after the applicable Refund Period;
  • Purchases of products expressly identified as non-refundable before checkout;
  • Upgrades where the applicable upgrade transaction is expressly identified as non-refundable;
  • Additional purchases made after a previous refund where the transaction forms part of a pattern of refund abuse;
  • Fraudulent, unauthorized, or suspicious transactions;
  • Transactions involving material violations of the applicable license or Subscription Terms;
  • Transactions where the Customer has materially abused the refund policy;
  • Third-party services or products for which Rometheme is not the merchant of record, where the applicable third party controls refunds;
  • Taxes, fees, or charges that Rometheme is legally prohibited from refunding, where applicable.

These exclusions do not apply to the extent that applicable consumer protection or other mandatory law requires a refund, replacement, repair, cancellation right, or other remedy.

14. Refund Abuse and Fair Use

Rometheme provides the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee in good faith and expects Customers to use the policy for legitimate product evaluation.

Rometheme may investigate and deny a Refund Request where there is reasonable evidence of fraud, bad faith, or material abuse of the refund system.

Examples of potential refund abuse include, without limitation:

  • repeatedly purchasing the same product or substantially identical product and requesting refunds after using it;
  • repeatedly obtaining refunds for the same product within a twelve (12) month period;
  • purchasing a Subscription primarily to obtain access to premium resources and then requesting a refund after substantially consuming those resources;
  • repeatedly downloading a substantial quantity of premium resources immediately before requesting refunds;
  • sharing, transferring, or distributing Subscription credentials or license entitlements in violation of the applicable license;
  • using multiple accounts or identities to circumvent refund limitations;
  • providing materially false or misleading information in connection with a Refund Request;
  • using fraudulent, stolen, unauthorized, or disputed payment methods;
  • attempting to obtain both a refund and continued Subscription Benefits for the same transaction;
  • engaging in a repeated “purchase, consume, refund, repurchase” pattern intended to circumvent normal Subscription fees.

The existence of a single download, installation, activation, or ordinary use of a product does not by itself constitute refund abuse.

Rometheme will consider the circumstances and available transaction information when determining whether a pattern of abuse exists.

15. Refund Abuse Actions

Where Rometheme reasonably determines that a Customer has materially abused the refund system, Rometheme may, to the extent permitted by applicable law:

  • deny the applicable Refund Request;
  • restrict or suspend future refund eligibility;
  • suspend or terminate the affected Subscription;
  • suspend or terminate the Customer’s account;
  • revoke access to Subscription-only services;
  • prevent additional purchases through the affected account; or
  • take other reasonable measures necessary to prevent continued abuse.

Rometheme will not use this section to deny a refund or other consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded or restricted.

16. Effect of an Approved Refund

When a refund is approved and processed, the corresponding Subscription is considered canceled as of the effective refund date unless otherwise stated by Rometheme.

Following an approved refund, Rometheme may:

  • deactivate the applicable Subscription entitlement;
  • deactivate or revoke subscription-based license activation;
  • discontinue access to premium updates;
  • discontinue access to premium downloads;
  • discontinue access to premium templates or libraries;
  • discontinue access to premium support;
  • discontinue access to subscription-only services; and
  • require the Customer to cease use of any Subscription-only service or feature.

Where applicable, software distributed under an open-source license remains subject to the rights and obligations of that license.

A refund does not grant the Customer a continuing right to Subscription Benefits for which payment has been returned.

17. Digital Products and Immediate Access

Rometheme may provide immediate access to digital products, downloads, software, templates, updates, support, or other Subscription Benefits immediately after successful payment.

The Customer acknowledges that digital access may begin immediately.

However, immediate access does not automatically eliminate any refund rights expressly provided by these Terms or any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

Downloading, installing, activating, or using an eligible product during the applicable 30-day Refund Period does not, by itself, invalidate the Customer’s eligibility for the 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee.

Rometheme may consider substantial or abusive consumption of limited Subscription resources when determining whether a refund request constitutes abuse.

18. Upgrades

Where Rometheme permits a Customer to upgrade an active Subscription, the applicable upgrade price and adjustment will be displayed at checkout.

Unless otherwise stated, an upgrade does not restart or extend the existing Subscription Period.

An upgrade may be subject to separate refund terms displayed at the time of purchase.

Any refund rights that apply to the original Subscription do not automatically apply to a subsequent upgrade transaction.

19. Promotional Pricing and Discounts

Promotional prices, coupons, introductory discounts, and other special offers may be subject to additional conditions.

Unless explicitly stated otherwise, a discount granted at the time of an Initial Purchase does not guarantee that the same discount will apply to future Renewals.

Renewal prices may differ from the original purchase price.

Where applicable, the price that will be charged upon Renewal will be disclosed during purchase or through a renewal notice.

20. Price Changes

Rometheme may change Subscription prices for future purchases and Renewals.

A price change will not retroactively change the amount already paid for an active Subscription Period.

Where reasonably required or appropriate, Rometheme will provide advance notice of material price changes affecting an upcoming Renewal and provide the Customer with an opportunity to cancel automatic renewal before the new price takes effect.

21. Taxes and Transaction Charges

Applicable taxes may be added to the purchase price where required by law.

Refunds will be processed in accordance with applicable tax and payment-processing requirements.

Rometheme will not voluntarily deduct payment processing fees, currency conversion costs, or similar charges from an otherwise eligible refund unless such deduction is clearly disclosed at checkout, permitted by applicable law, or imposed by the applicable payment processor.

Where a tax authority, payment provider, bank, or other third party does not return a particular fee or charge to Rometheme, the refund amount may be adjusted to the extent legally permitted.

Nothing in this section limits any mandatory refund of taxes, fees, or charges required by applicable law.

22. Refund Method

Approved refunds will generally be returned to the original payment method used for the transaction.

Rometheme may request additional information to verify the payment and prevent fraudulent refunds.

Where the original payment method is unavailable or cannot reasonably receive the refund, Rometheme may use an alternative refund method where permitted by the applicable payment processor and applicable law.

Rometheme will not require a Customer to accept store credit instead of a monetary refund where a monetary refund is required under these Terms or applicable law.

23. Refund Processing Time

Rometheme will generally initiate approved refunds within five (5) to ten (10) business days after the refund has been approved.

The actual time required for the funds to appear in the Customer’s account depends on the payment processor, bank, card issuer, or other financial institution.

Rometheme is not responsible for delays caused solely by a third-party payment provider after Rometheme has successfully initiated the refund.

24. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Customers are encouraged to contact Rometheme before initiating a payment dispute or chargeback where the issue can reasonably be resolved through the normal support or refund process.

Nothing in these Terms prevents a Customer from exercising any rights available through their payment provider or under applicable law.

Where a payment is reversed through a chargeback or payment dispute, Rometheme may suspend the corresponding Subscription while the transaction is being investigated.

Rometheme may provide relevant transaction information to a payment processor or financial institution when reasonably necessary to respond to a fraudulent or disputed transaction.

25. Consumer Rights

Nothing in these Subscription Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, waive, or override any mandatory rights or remedies that a Customer has under applicable consumer protection, digital-content, electronic-commerce, contract, or other applicable law.

Where applicable law provides a mandatory cancellation right, refund right, repair right, replacement right, price reduction, termination right, statutory guarantee, or other consumer remedy that is more favorable than these Terms, that mandatory right will continue to apply.

The 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee is an additional contractual benefit provided by Rometheme and does not replace or reduce mandatory consumer rights.

Where a provision of these Subscription Terms is found to be unenforceable in a particular jurisdiction, that provision will be interpreted or modified only to the extent necessary to comply with applicable law, while the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

26. Product Changes and Availability

Rometheme may improve, modify, replace, or discontinue individual features, templates, integrations, or services from time to time.

Where a material change substantially reduces a core Subscription Benefit during an already-paid Subscription Period, Rometheme may, where appropriate, provide a reasonable remedy such as continued access to an alternative feature, service extension, account credit, or refund.

Nothing in this section limits any rights required by applicable law.

27. Subscription Expiration

When a Subscription reaches its expiration date and is not renewed:

  • automatic renewal will not occur;
  • access to premium updates may cease;
  • access to premium downloads may cease;
  • access to premium support may cease;
  • access to subscription-only templates or services may cease; and
  • other Subscription Benefits may become unavailable.

Unless otherwise stated in the applicable license, expiration does not automatically require the Customer to uninstall software that was lawfully obtained and installed during an active Subscription.

28. Termination for Violation

Rometheme may suspend or terminate a Subscription or account where reasonably necessary due to:

  • fraud;
  • unauthorized payment activity;
  • material violation of these Subscription Terms;
  • material violation of an applicable software license;
  • unauthorized license sharing;
  • resale or redistribution of Subscription credentials;
  • abuse of Rometheme services;
  • unlawful activity; or
  • conduct that creates a significant security or operational risk.

Where appropriate and reasonably practicable, Rometheme may provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the violation before termination.

Nothing in this section limits mandatory consumer rights.

29. Support

Technical support is provided according to the support level included with the applicable Subscription plan.

Support availability, response times, supported products, and excluded requests may be described in Rometheme’s Support Policy.

An active Subscription does not guarantee that every technical issue can be resolved or that a requested feature will be implemented.

30. Customer Responsibilities

Customers are responsible for:

  • maintaining valid account information;
  • maintaining appropriate backups of their websites and data;
  • using products according to their applicable license;
  • maintaining compatible hosting, WordPress, PHP, browser, and server environments where applicable;
  • keeping account credentials secure;
  • preventing unauthorized access to their account; and
  • ensuring that their use of Rometheme products complies with applicable law.

31. Account and License Sharing

Subscription accounts, license keys, activation credentials, and other access mechanisms may not be shared, transferred, resold, or distributed except where expressly permitted by the applicable Subscription plan or license.

A Subscription may be subject to website, domain, user, installation, or activation limits specified on the applicable product page.

Rometheme may suspend license activation or account access where there is reasonable evidence of unauthorized sharing or use.

32. Changes to These Terms

Rometheme may update these Subscription Terms from time to time.

Changes will generally apply prospectively to new purchases and future Renewals.

Where a material change affects an already-paid Subscription Period, Rometheme will not retroactively remove rights that were expressly included in that paid Subscription Period unless required for legal, security, technical, or operational reasons.

The “Last Updated” date at the beginning of these Terms indicates when these Terms were most recently revised.

Continued use of a Subscription following the effective date of updated Terms may constitute acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.

33. Severability

If any provision of these Subscription Terms is determined to be invalid, unlawful, or unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law or modified only to the extent necessary to make it enforceable.

The remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.

34. No Waiver

A failure by Rometheme to enforce any provision of these Subscription Terms does not constitute a waiver of Rometheme’s right to enforce that provision in the future.

35. Governing Law

These Subscription Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Rometheme and the applicable jurisdiction specified in Rometheme’s General Terms of Service, except to the extent mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.

Nothing in this section prevents a Customer from exercising mandatory consumer rights available in the Customer’s jurisdiction.

36. Contact

For subscription cancellations, refund requests, billing questions, or other Subscription-related matters, Customers may contact Rometheme through the official support channels provided on the Rometheme website.

Customers should provide sufficient information to identify the relevant transaction, such as the account email address, order number, or transaction ID.

37. Acceptance

By purchasing, activating, accessing, downloading, or using a Rometheme Subscription, the Customer acknowledges that they have had an opportunity to review these Subscription Terms and agrees to be bound by them, subject to any mandatory rights provided by applicable law.

If the Customer does not agree to these Subscription Terms, the Customer should not purchase or use the applicable Subscription.
